  1. Enclave (Razorland, Book 1)

Synopsis (taken from Goodreads):

“New York City has been decimated by war and plague, and most of civilization has migrated to underground enclaves, where life expectancy is no more than the early 20’s. When Deuce turns 15, she takes on her role as a Huntress, and is paired with Fade, a teenage Hunter who lived Topside as a young boy. When she and Fade discover that the neighboring enclave has been decimated by the tunnel monsters–or Freaks–who seem to be growing more organized, the elders refuse to listen to warnings. And when Deuce and Fade are exiled from the enclave, the girl born in darkness must survive in daylight–guided by Fade’s long-ago memories–in the ruins of a city whose population has dwindled to a few dangerous gangs.”

The New Order, as it is known, is clearly trying to suppress Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Being a Normal Teenager. But while trapped in this totalitarian nightmare, Wisty and Whit discover they have incredible powers they’d never dreamed of. Can this newly minted witch and wizard master their skills in time to save themselves, their parents–and maybe the world?”

  1. The Gift (Witch and Wizard #2)

But the One has other plans in store for them: He needs Wisty, for she is “The One Who Has the Gift.” While trying to figure out what that means, Whit and Wisty’s suspenseful adventures through Overworld and Shadowland lead to a jaw-dropping climax and conclusion: the highly-anticipated fulfillment of the heart-pounding opening prologue of book one…The Execution of the Allgoods.”

So I had some Barnes and Noble store credit, so I tried getting some books to complete series that I have already started collecting. I like to binge read series so that I stay interested in the world and storyline, so I can now officially read the Peryn and the End of Days series and I just need to buy Winter for the Lunar Chronicles and I can read those, too!

When a daring rescue of Cress goes awry, the group is splintered. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a higher price than she’d ever expected. Cress, Scarlet, and Cinder may not have signed up to save the world, but they may be the only hope the world has.”

These next ones are just some other books I bought. The Pokemon origami book was a gift to my boyfriend for his birthday, but I still wanted to put it in here because I am hoping to fold at least one of them (hopefully Eevee)!

  1. Very nice book haul! Love the journal. Do you do origami? I did them a lot back in high school. I made the tulips for a teacher’s daughter’s wedding. 50 of them. She paid me $50, although I told her I could do it for free. 🙂
